Job Description

Job Summary/ Your Role in a Nutshell:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining ad units, configuring line items, and implementing advanced targeting and yield optimization strategies. This role involves close collaboration with content, tech, and product teams to ensure seamless ad delivery, troubleshoot issues, and drive revenue growth. A deep understanding of programmatic advertising, video ad formats (VAST, VMAP, VPAID, SSAI), and performance analysis tools is essential. This is a project-based hiring opportunity with an initial visibility of 3 months, which may be extended based on business requirements and individual performance.


What you'll do:

  • Create and manage Google Ad Manager (GAM) inventory: ad units, placements, and line items
  • Video Ad Setup in GAM on VOD and Linear channels
  • Set up and optimize ad unit IDs for web/app environments to ensure maximum fill rates and revenue
  • Configure and manage line items (sponsorship, standard, network, house, etc.) across various priority levels
  • Implement targeting rules including geo, device, browser, audience segments, and custom key-values
  • Collaborate with content, tech, and product teams to ensure correct ad tag integration and delivery
  • Optimize ad yield through header bidding, floor price management, and AdX/AdSense integration
  • Monitor ad performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CTR, Viewability, Fill Rate) and recommend improvements
  • Troubleshoot ad serving and delivery issues using Google Publisher Console, Ad Inspector, and network debuggers
  • Ensure compliance with ads.txt, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and platform policies
  • Prepare regular performance reports and revenue forecasts

What you need:

  • Bachelors degree in Technology/Marketing/Advertising/Business, with 4+ years of experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM 360 preferred), AdSense
  • Knowledge on configuration of Client Side Video Ad using VAST, VMAP, and VPAID, and Server Side ad using DAI, SSA,I etc.
  • Deep understanding of ad serving logic, programmatic ads, and revenue optimization
  • Familiarity with ad trafficking, line item types, targeting capabilities, and DFP tags
  • Proficient in analyzing data via Google Analytics, Ad Manager reports, and other tools
  • Working knowledge of third-party demand partners (SSPs, DSPs, header bidding platforms)
  • Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, etc.)
