Job Description
- You are a Sr. RTL Engineer at Pixxel, one of the fastest-growing aerospace start-ups, with a global team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of earth observation. As a part of the Avionics team, you will contribute to building future architectures that drive innovation in the field. Your responsibilities will include participating in next-generation system architecture, understanding design requirements, supporting verification engineers, and ensuring the correctness of designs. You will work on high-reliability digital designs using Xilinx FPGAs and be involved in conceptual design studies of new spacecraft. Desirable skills for this role include proficiency in Xilinx Vivado Design Suite, experience with external memories and high-speed transceivers, and expertise in advanced design methodologies. You should also have experience with lab equipment, schematic design, and board bring-up. Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree (Masters or PhD). Strong knowledge of hardware description languages, computer architecture, logic design, and serial interfaces is required. Experience with FPGA tools, HDL Simulation Tools, debugging skills, and programming languages like C/C++, Python, and Matlab are also essential.
