Job Description

As an Automation Tester at CGI, you will be responsible for conducting Selenium (Automation Testing) and preparing Selenium scripts. Your role will also involve API Automation, Java application testing, using Java, GIT, Jenkins, BDD framework, Page Object model, SQL, and API testing (SOAP), with REST being optional. Additionally, your responsibilities will include possessing basic knowledge of Manual Testing, MS SQL Server or any Database testing, and having Automation skills. Knowledge of Finance (Deals) Domain would be considered a bonus. Your primary skills will include Selenium, Selenium Script Preparation, Java application testing, Java, Jenkins, BDD framework, API testing (SOAP), REST (optional), SQL, GIT, and POM model. Secondary skills will involve Manual Testing, JIRA, and QC (ALM). To excel in this role, you should have experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java, cucumber, testNg, BDD framework, and POM model. Proficiency in Maven, Jenkins CI/CD pipeline, API testing with tools like Rest Assured, a programming language like Java, SQL, and GIT is essential. Good automation skills, along with experience in manual testing, are required. Knowledge of JIRA, QC tool, and web-based application testing, especially Java, are also important.
