We are hiring an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in TCS Bancs Core Banking, especially within the Payments module, including Payments Hub, SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT, and international payments.

This is a highly visible role where you will collaborate directly with business users and technology teams to customize Bancs, integrate payment systems, and drive innovation in mission-critical banking platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Customize and enhance TCS Bancs Payments module, with a focus on Payments Hub and International Transfers (SWIFT/SEPA).
• Analyze client requirements and map them to Bancs functionality and product layers.
• Design and implement PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for transaction workflows.
• Create and support interfaces with SWIFT, AML, GL, and other downstream systems.
• Participate in requirement discussions, functional walkthroughs, and technical design sessions with bank stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute unit test plans; support SIT/UAT activities with business users.
• Support ongoing BAU fixes, performance tuning, and product upgrades as needed.
  

What Were Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in TCS Bancs Core Banking product
• Strong expertise in the Payments module NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT, SEPA, MT103/202, ISO20022
• Experience in Payments Hub implementation/customization
• Good hands-on in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions
• Experience with Unix shell scripting
• Exposure to interface integration between Bancs and external systems
• Strong understanding of banking processes and terminologies
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience in client-facing roles and business discussions
• Knowledge of banking in GCC countries (UAE, Qatar, Oman, etc.)
• Experience in Agile methodology, tools like JIRA, Confluence
• Familiarity with AML, Core Ledger, or Payment Reconciliation systems
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with ability to manage tasks independently
• Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
