Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the operational backbone of Soctrip's flight vertical, managing day-to-day airline relationships, optimizing flight inventory, and ensuring smooth operations across all booking channels while supporting the Head of Flight in strategic initiatives. 

  • Act as the key liaison between airlines and internal flight teams 
  • Support the Head of Flight in managing strategic airline partnerships and high-priority accounts 
  • Handle key airline accounts and assist in negotiating commercial terms 
  • Monitor flight market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape 
  • Provide mentorship to junior flight sales staff 
  • Ensure timely reporting and flight-related issue resolution 
  • Ensure confidentiality of seller information; take full responsibility for any damage caused to sellers/partners/users or Soctrip 
  • Do not use personal contact information (including phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, messaging apps, etc.) to communicate with sellers/partners/users. Only use company-approved contact details for sellers/partners/users communication and support during your employment with Soctrip and Hahalolo 

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Tourism, or Business 
  2. Experience: 5-7 years in airline distribution/flight operations with airline account management 
  3. Certifications: IATA Certification strongly preferred (IATA Consultant level) 
  4. Technical Skills:  
  • Advanced knowledge of airline fare construction and ticketing rules 
  • Expertise in GDS operations and flight inventory management 
  • Understanding of airline pricing, RBD management, and yield optimization 
  • Proficiency in flight booking systems and APIs 

Key Competencies:

  • Managing airline relationships for domestic carriers (IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, etc.) 
  • Experience with international airline partnerships 
  • Knowledge of group bookings and corporate fare management 
  • Understanding of airline ancillary products and services 
  1. Crisis management during flight disruptions/cancellations 

Performance Metrics:

  • Airline partner satisfaction scores 
  • Inventory utilization rates 
  • Issue resolution TAT 
  • Team productivity metrics
