Job Description
- As a candidate for this position, you should possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills that are clear, concise, and effective in both team and client-facing settings. You should have deep expertise in Ruby on Rails (versions 3, 4, and 5) and a solid command of RSpec and Capybara for testing purposes. Your mastery should extend to a strong understanding of RESTful API design and development, accompanied by hands-on experience in creating scalable, secure, and robust web services. You should be a TDD Champion, proficient in Test Driven Development practices for ensuring reliability and maintainability of code. Fluency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB from design to implementation is essential. You should be savvy in deploying applications on AWS, Heroku, and Google Cloud. Your UI skills should include hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and responsive web design best practices. You should be proficient in Vue.js and jQuery, with additional experience in using Bootstrap for quick UI/UX development. Exposure to React, Angular, and Meteor would be a bonus, showcasing your flexibility in switching or integrating based on project requirements. Experience in Agile SCRUM methodologies is expected, with the ability to contribute effectively in fast-paced sprints. Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and SVN for version control, including branching strategies and collaborative development, is required. A strong grasp of web application security best practices and implementation across authentication, data protection, and secure coding is necessary. You should have a solid understanding of client-server architecture and how to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability. Overall, this role requires a well-rounded developer with a diverse skill set and a commitment to excellence in both communication and technical proficiency.,
