We are currently seeking a candidate proficient in Microfocus QTP - UFT Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on test automation skills using UFT QTP as the primary tool. Key responsibilities include creating UFT QTP automated scripts from scratch, updating existing scripts, and demonstrating a secondary skill set in webservice testing. Proficiency in SQL is essential, and familiarity with Selenium automation and leadership/coordination experience are considered advantageous. Furthermore, the successful candidate must have a solid foundation in SQL, Java, and Soap UI. The role requires the ability to work autonomously with extensive experience in both Automation testing and Manual testing (80/20 split). Tasks include writing functional, integration, and end-to-end customer workflow test automation scenarios to validate product functionality and integration with dependencies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, modifying, and executing software test plans and automated scripts. Moreover, the role demands the capability to define comprehensive end-to-end scenarios with varying data inputs, encompassing both positive and negative scenarios. Experience in operating within an agile development process, such as Scrum or Kanban, from the test design, automation, and execution perspectives is essential. The candidate should be adept at leading initiatives, overseeing them end-to-end, resolving issues, managing risks, providing accurate status updates, and communicating effectively with developers, clients, partners, and management.
