Role Overview:
The Solution Architect (SA) serves as a pivotal pre-sales resource, leveraging their extensive enterprise networking technology background to lead consultative discovery processes, understanding the client or prospect s business goals, objectives, and challenges. The SA translates these insights into effective enterprise networking solutions, playing a leadership role by analyzing business requirements, presenting relevant solutions, and driving value-based outcomes. Qualified candidates will possess significant experience in LAN networking, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies in a sales-oriented, technical solution design, and architecture role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design comprehensive enterprise network LAN/WAN solutions and strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with the account sales team and practice sellers.
- Serve as the deal architect for multifaceted, multi-technology solutions.
- Create and deliver tailored technical presentations for customers.
- Author and deliver detailed network designs, statements of work (SOWs), high-level designs (HLD), and proposals.
- Translate designs into OEM Bills of Materials and develop costing models.
- Stay abreast of the competitive technological and vendor landscape.
- Actively participate in industry events and represent the company at various forums.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the sales process to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations and technical workshops for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years in client-facing technical Pre-Sales Engineering, Consulting, or Solutions Architecture, with deep knowledge of various network architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate complex system solutions to customers.
- Proven experience working with large network solution providers or system integrators.
Technical Requirements:
- CCIE and/or JNCIE certification is highly preferred.
- Certification or equivalent experience with technologies from Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with enterprise network routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Proficiency in network security practices and technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and integration with enterprise networks.
