Position: Research Associate
Location: The preferred locations are Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Coimbatore, but if there is a good resource then location is flexible.
Description:
We are looking for a Research Associate who is passionate about data analysis, market trends, and social media insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media monitoring tools, secondary research, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical skills to extract meaningful insights. You will work with industry-leading research platforms, extract and analyze social media mentions using Boolean queries, and create impactful reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and market insights
2. Utilize popular research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Statista, Meltwater, Brandwatch, etc.) to gather and analyze relevant data.
3. Develop and refine Boolean queries for social media monitoring and perform categorization, sentiment analysis, and other analysis using tools like Talkwalker, Sprinklr, or others.
4. Monitor and analyze data from various social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, etc.).
5. Perform data extraction, cleaning, and analysis using intermediate to advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query etc.).
6. Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.
7. Present research findings through clear and concise reports with actionable insights.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to support business decision-making with data-backed recommendations.
Key Requirements:
1. 04 years of experience in social media monitoring, secondary research, data analysis, or related fields.
2. Strong ability to conduct deep-dive research and analyze large datasets.
3. Strong communication and articulation skills.
4. Familiarity with Boolean search techniques for data filtering and social media research.
5. Good knowledge of social media platforms and their analytics tools.
6. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Dashboards, etc.).
7. Strong presentation skills and the ability to create compelling reports.
8. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
1. B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Com/ BBA (MBA is a plus).
2. Experience with social media monitoring tools (Meltwater, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, etc.).
3. Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
