Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager Mumbai to drive and manage sales of our Orthopedic Soft Goods in the Mumbai territory. The role involves direct interaction with dealers, hospitals, doctors, and chemists, focusing on relationship-building, revenue growth, and market development in one of our key urban markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and grow market share in the Mumbai region.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with orthopedic doctors, physiotherapists, chemists, hospitals, and dealers.
  • Lead a team of Area Sales Managers & Territory Sales Executives to ensure coverage and consistent performance.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans and strategies.
  • Conduct regular field visits, product demonstrations, and doctor interactions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend tactical changes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, product) to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 914 years of experience in medical device or orthopedic product sales, preferably in the Mumbai market.
  • Proven success in managing dealer distribution, hospital sales, surgical and medical retail outlets and doctor engagement.
  • Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Team leadership experience (minimum 57 years).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Based in Mumbai and willing to travel extensively within the city and surrounding areas.
