Job Description
- As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for various financial activities including financial reporting, consolidation of financial statements, audit coordination, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and forecasting & budgeting. You will prepare and analyze financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Presenting financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities will also be a part of your role. Managing the consolidation of financial data from different business units, subsidiaries, and joint ventures will be one of your key tasks. You will implement and maintain consolidation systems and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Additionally, reconciling intercompany transactions, analyzing financial data for trends and key performance indicators, and providing insights to management for strategic decision-making will be crucial responsibilities. You will lead, support, and manage external audits conducted by independent auditors. Ensuring proper documentation during the audit process, addressing audit findings, preparing plans to mitigate risks, and implementing corrective actions to strengthen financial controls and reporting will also fall under your purview. Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement will be essential. Providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making will be another important aspect of your role. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements in the renewable energy industry will be a key responsibility. Coordinating with external auditors for the annual audit process, staying updated with industry-specific regulations, and adapting reporting processes accordingly will be part of your tasks. You will continuously assess and improve financial reporting and consolidation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implementing best practices and automation tools to streamline reporting procedures, as well as working with the team on the automation of financial systems, will be crucial for process improvement. Assisting in the development of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with department heads to gather input and provide guidance on budget adherence will also be essential for successful forecasting and budgeting.,
