Job Description
- As a CAD/3D Design Model Creator, your primary responsibility will be to develop CAD models for customer order jewelry. This includes understanding customer preferences such as gemstones, metals, styles, and design direction. You will be expected to create 3D CAD models with precise attention to proportions, symmetry, and aesthetics to ensure that all customer order CAD designs meet the required quantity, quality, and timelines. In addition to creating CAD models, you will also be involved in researching and developing new techniques to enhance efficiency and innovation in CAD solutions. This will involve analyzing new design attributes, researching possibilities, and creating new development options to stay ahead of industry trends. Your role will also include innovating and developing new jewelry techniques, locking mechanisms, and settings. You will be responsible for testing and refining these new techniques, settings, and mechanisms to ensure superior product output. Furthermore, you will need to monitor and follow up with vendors on sample, POC & concept cracking & its development. As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to improve vendor CAD files, optimize mechanisms for production, and resolve complex design issues while ensuring compliance with NPD standards. You will also play a key role in training and guiding vendors on implementing NPD standards and addressing any technical challenges raised by vendors in CAD. Overall, as a CAD/3D Design Model Creator, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative and high-quality CAD models for customer order jewelry, researching and developing new techniques, mechanisms, and settings, and providing training and support to vendors to ensure compliance with NPD standards.,
