- Join us as an AWS PySpark/Glue ETL developer, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Working closely with a team of engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, you will analyze business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As an AWS PySpark/Glue ETL developer, your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. - Utilizing Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc. - Working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services. - Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and ORM tools. - Experience with version control systems such as Git and build tools like Maven. In addition to the above, the following skills are highly valued: - Experience with the AWS cloud platform. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus. Your success in this role will be evaluated based on key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology expertise, and role-specific technical skills. This position is based in Chennai. Purpose of the role: To design, develop, and enhance software solutions using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities: - Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization of the code. - Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participating in code reviews, promoting code quality, knowledge sharing, and staying updated on industry technology trends. - Adhering to secure coding practices, implementing effective unit testing, and ensuring proper code design and reliability. Analyst Expectations: - Performing activities in a timely and high-standard manner to drive continuous improvement. - Demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise. - Leading and supervising a team, guiding professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources. - Taking ownership of managing risk, strengthening controls, and resolving problems through acquired technical experience.
