As Associate Cloud Support Engineer at Akamai Technologies, provide technical support for global online customers. Enhance processes, optimise operations, and improve metrics to deliver an exceptional support experience.
As a Cloud Support Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues.
- Providing technical/team leadership and direction to organization
- Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams
- Leading investigations across Akamais Distributed Network for optimized performance and delivery for customers
- Analyzing existing technical issues across Akamais Distributed Networks and proposing solutions to prevent issues recurring.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in computer science/Engineering or
relevant fields - Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers
- Be well versed in how the internet works, its underlying protocols with understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.
- Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix
- Be able to prioritize workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying
technical ability
