 Guest Relations Manager

Job Description

1. Operational Management:


  • Ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the cinema, including ticket sales, concessions, projection, and overall facility cleanliness.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and non-peak hours.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of projection equipment, sound systems, and other technical aspects of the theater.

2. Customer Service:


  • Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Train staff in excellent customer service practices and enforce customer service standards.

3. Team Leadership:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise theater staff, including ushers, ticket sellers, concession workers, and projectionists.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.

4. Financial Management:


  • Monitor and manage operational expenses and budgets.
  • Maximize revenue by implementing pricing strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Track and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.

5. Safety and Security:


  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, including fire safety, health regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Marketing and Promotion:


  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, special events, and promotional activities.
  • Work on strategies to attract and retain customers, including loyalty programs.

7. Inventory Management:


  • Maintain inventory levels for concessions and supplies.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.

8. Compliance and Licensing:


  • Ensure that the cinema operates in compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain necessary licenses and permits.

9. Facility Maintenance:


  • Oversee facility maintenance, including seating, restrooms, lobby areas, and signage.
  • Arrange for repairs and upgrades as needed to maintain a high-quality cinema environment.

10. Guest Relations:


  • Build relationships with frequent customers and address their feedback.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and social media comments.
