Job Description
- You should have very strong server-side Java experience, particularly in open source, data-intensive, distributed environments. Working on open source products and contributing to them would be an added advantage. Your knowledge should encompass various Java, J2EE, and EAI patterns. You should have experience in implementing complex projects dealing with considerable data sizes (GB/PB) and high complexities. Familiarity with architectural concepts like Multitenancy, SOA, SCA, and non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and monitoring is essential. You should possess a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of database principles, SQL, and experience in working with large databases beyond data access is required. Exposure to complete SDLC and PDLC is expected. You should be capable of working both as an individual contributor and within a team. A self-starter and resourceful personality with the ability to manage pressure situations is essential. Experience or knowledge of working with batch processing/real-time systems using various open-source technologies like Solr, Hadoop, NoSQL DBs, Storm, Kafka, etc., is preferred. As part of your role, you will be responsible for implementing various solutions arising from large data processing (GBs/PBs) across various NoSQL, Hadoop, and MPP-based products. Active participation in architecture and design calls with big data customers, working with senior architects, and providing implementation details are key responsibilities. You will also be involved in conducting sessions, writing whitepapers, and case studies related to Big Data. Timely and quality deliveries are crucial, along with fulfilling organizational responsibilities by sharing knowledge and experience within the organization, conducting technical sessions, and trainings.
