As a Big Data Lead, you will manage data sets too large for traditional database systems, creating, designing, and implementing data processing jobs to transform data into a usable format while ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include managing customer priorities, assessing needs, designing and implementing software products, collaborating within teams, delivering solutions against tight timelines, suggesting new approaches, and showcasing technical skills and behaviors to drive value back into the business. The ideal candidate will bring 6 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise application solutions for distributed systems, understanding Big Data Hadoop Ecosystem components, and having additional experience with various technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Pig, MapReduce, HBase, Talend, NoSQL databases, Apache Spark, Java, and other Big Data technologies.
