We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the Project Sales team. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through direct engagement with architects, interior designers, builders, and consultants, managing key client relationships and closing high-value sales for architectural and decorative product lines.
Lead Generation & Market Development
Identify and target residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
Generate leads via networking, referrals, and regular site visits.
Client Engagement & Specification Selling
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and PMC consultants.
Conduct product presentations, sample demos, and secure brand specifications in BOQs.
Sales Closure & Negotiation
Understand project requirements, prepare quotations, and drive commercial closures.
Manage order deliveries, payment follow-ups, and documentation.
Market Mapping & Brand Promotion
Attend trade shows, architect meets, and industry events.
Act as a brand ambassador in the regional construction/design ecosystem.
Reporting & Coordination
Maintain project pipeline and CRM records.
Collaborate with internal teams for smooth execution.
Education:
Graduate in any discipline (Engineering/Architecture/Interior Design preferred).
MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales is an advantage.
Experience:
58 years in Project Sales or Specification Sales (building materials, facades, laminates, ACP, glass, tiles, etc.).
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong client handling and relationship-building ability
Knowledge of design and specification selling cycle
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and CRM tools
Willing to travel frequently within assigned territory
Languages:
Proficiency in English, Hindi, and local language is mandatory.
