Job Description

    Focus on stakeholder queries with respect to sustainability, performance of the organization, and build corporate image through sustainability road map implementation, reporting, and compliance. Attain Global recognition in DJSI and other ESG platforms by creating a world-class non-financial reporting framework (Environment Social Governance (ESG) data, Integrated Report/Sustainability Report, and policies & practices). Grasim standalone has multiple business verticals. At the consolidated level (two large subsidiaries- UltraTech and Aditya Birla Capital) therefore influencing stakeholders, analysts, and investors so that Grasim by giving the right information about the sustainability journey of the organization. Given the diversity of businesses, the challenge is to stay updated about the businesses. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to stay abreast of the latest development related to the industry. Responsible for the timely completion of Integrated/Sustainability Report. The Non-Financial Reporting (ESG) has become of paramount importance for Institutional investors and other stakeholders. Ever increasing compliances and disclosures by regulators like SEBI and stock exchanges require detailed reporting of operations at various levels. Creating a framework for ESG reporting and improving data disclosures and adoption of new policies and processes at the company and business level. Collaborating with the Investor relations team for financial data and ensuring timely completion of statutory reporting and publishing the BRSR. Responsibility for sustainability data assurance as per statutory requirements. Needs to coordinate with third party assurers to get data verified in line with reporting requirements in the BRSR as per the mandate of SEBI. Collaborating with all internal stakeholders and ensuring smooth assurance without many deviations. Responsibility for participation in the Global benchmarking exercise- Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and CDP. The DJSI and CDP disclosures company's platform to sustainability efforts of the company and will give complete knowledge of the sustainability journey to all its stakeholders. Collaborating with all internal stakeholders to provide necessary data in a timely manner. Has to work closely with multiple business functions including, Group Sustainability teams, investor relation team, communications team, and CFOs team for all external communication and engagement with stakeholders. Key Result Areas Key Result Areas Supporting Actions BRSR reporting Preparing Non-financial data related to BRSR under SEBI framework and CDI guidelines, Also keeping alignment with ISSB standards to ensure the global investor community gets the details they wanted from the report, requires knowledge of SEBI framework and various global standards. Also working closely with internal stakeholders (businesses) and external stakeholders (consultants for the right narrative. Deep understanding of innovative work which happens across the businesses and culminating the data and carefully preparing the right narrative in collaboration with all stakeholders. Assurance The non-financial data of BRSR has to be assured before presenting it to the Board of directors in a draft form as per SEBI guidelines. Knowledge of the source of data as well as all related KPIs pertaining BRSR report and assurance is a key requirement. Grasim website updation; Investor Presentations; Recommendation for Industry Bodies Creating/Writing content for various sections of the website. Investor Presentations - Overseeing the updating of content with respect to sustainability and new initiatives in sustainability. Should work closely with the Investor relations team, communications team, and Business MD office teams. Annual General Meetings- Drafting FAQs with respect to sustainability. Framing recommendations with respect to Sustainability to external industrial bodies like FICCI/CII etc. Non-Financial Reporting (ESG Reporting); Integrated Report (IR) Annual Integrated Report Creating the theme, content, layout, responsibility for digital publication of the annual report and coordinate with businesses specially for finalizing non-financial disclosures and assurance thereof. Overseeing the assurance process for sustainability indicators and facilitate resolution of outstanding queries with the plant team/management team and ensure its timely completion. Creating/Drafting and implementation of ESG policies at Grasim and level (Supply Chain policy, Cybersecurity Stakeholders" engagement, HR, Health & safety, Tax policy, etc.) in line with global companies. Stakeholder Engagement process and materiality assessment- primary objective of corporate stakeholder engagement is to generate a better understanding of stakeholder perspectives on key issues and, consequently, build relationships with key individuals. Analyzing water and climate change related risk at business and Grasim level and incorporating the same in the company's risk management framework. Inducing the business team to take sustainability-related goals and measuring the progress on those goals. Sustainability Report (SR) and Integrated Report (IR) creation for all the stakeholders. Identifying the theme for the SR/IR in close coordination with the senior management team. Drafting the Chairman's/MD/CFO's letter and creating the content for the IR/SR. Analyzing key sustainability indicators to be used for Sustainability Report (SR)/Integrated Report (IR). DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Index) & CDP Disclosures; Rating agencies like MSCI & Sustainalytics Participating in the global benchmarking exercise. Engaging with multi-disciplinary teams (Sustainability, HR, Supply Chain, Marketing, EHS, CSR) across the businesses and managing the DJSI & CDP disclosure process to ensure the accuracy of information, resolution of queries, and the timely completion and submission of the survey. Timely response to queries from rating agencies like MSCI and Sustainalytics. Improvement in ratings is a key responsibility area. Driving sustainability initiatives and participating in capacity building sessions Helping drive sustainability initiatives across various businesses of Grasim to improve sustainability ratings. Working closely with the Group sustainability team to drive initiatives for implementing Group-wide policies.,
