Job Description
- As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of upcoming projects. This includes deciding on the plant configuration, reviewing generation yield estimates, and evaluating new technologies to ensure optimal performance. Your responsibilities will also involve preparing detailed BOMs for cost estimates, retrofitting existing plants, and conducting site evaluations. In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing RTC energy estimates and making decisions on BESS sizing, configuration, and BOM. Your expertise will be essential in tender engineering processes, including providing module-related engineering support for procurement and generating solar-specific detailed tender documents. You will also release BESS-related tenders and evaluate bids to prepare the Technical Evaluation Report (TER). Furthermore, your role will encompass detailed engineering tasks, ensuring the timely completion of awarded Solar + BESS packages. This will involve resource planning and optimization to meet project timelines, motivating team members to deliver according to management directives, and organizing meetings with vendors/consultants to minimize delays. You should have a thorough understanding of AC/DC side of Solar Engineering, BESS, and auxiliary system engineering. As an Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will involve coordinating all engineering functions to lead assigned projects effectively. You will focus on optimizing costs, implementing value-based engineering practices, and staying updated with the latest technological trends to enhance project designs. Additionally, you will be expected to provide hands-on support for basic engineering deliverables when necessary and train your team to multitask effectively. Overall, this role requires a proactive and strategic approach to engineering projects, including cost optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement in design processes. Your ability to lead, adapt to changing circumstances, and drive project success will be critical in achieving project objectives.,
