Data Engineer with Python Programming, Pyspark @ One top Recruitment

Job Description

You are required to be very strong in Python Programming, Pyspark queries, AWS, GIS, and Palantir Foundry. Your role involves leading data engineering activities on moderate to complex data and analytics-centric problems that have a broad impact and require in-depth analysis to achieve desired results. You will be responsible for assembling, enhancing, maintaining, and optimizing current data to enable cost savings and meet project or enterprise maturity objectives. Your skill set should include advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark. Experience with tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/CodeBuild, and CodePipeline is essential. Additionally, familiarity with platform monitoring and alerts tools is required. You will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop Foundry front-end applications with the ontology (data model) and data pipelines that support these applications. Implementing data transformations to derive new datasets or creating Foundry Ontology Objects necessary for business applications will be part of your responsibilities. Your tasks will also involve implementing operational applications using Foundry Tools such as Workshop, Map, and/or Slate. Active participation in agile/scrum ceremonies like stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc., is expected from you. It is essential to create and maintain documentation describing the data catalog and data objects. As the usage of applications grows and requirements change, you will be required to maintain these applications effectively.,
