Job Description
- You will be working as a Software Tester at Seasia Infotech, a CMMi5 certified company that specializes in Software Development, Mobile Application Development, and Digital Marketing services for businesses worldwide. Your role will involve designing and conducting tests on software usability, ensuring quality assurance from the software development stage to deployment. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and team members, you will analyze requirements, develop test cases, execute test plans, and report any defects. Your responsibilities will also include conducting manual tests to verify that the software meets its intended purpose and resolving any bugs or issues before deployment to end-users. To be successful in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience as a QA, with expertise in Mobile App testing across Android, IOS, and Web platforms. Strong skills in Manual Testing, as well as experience in API and Database testing, are preferred. You will be expected to prepare Test Designs, write test cases based on requirements, and execute tests while adhering to the Software testing life cycle and bug life cycle. Collaborating with product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test progress and results will also be part of your responsibilities. In this fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, you should possess the ability to investigate test failures thoroughly and work with developers to identify root causes. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, will be crucial in explaining technical aspects to non-technical users. Moreover, having knowledge of Agile Methodologies, problem-solving skills, and analytical capabilities will be beneficial for this role. Additionally, experience in WEB automation using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, API automation using Rest-Assured, and Mobile Automation using Appium (Android and iOS) on Simulator/Emulator and Real Devices will be an advantage.
