Job Description
- As the Senior Director, Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Quorum Software, you will play a crucial role in establishing and leading the AI Innovation Center. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions across our software portfolio, with a vision to accelerate our AI strategy by utilizing technologies such as machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, and advanced analytics to create transformative products and capabilities for the energy sector. Your responsibilities will include leading the AI Innovation Center to drive research and development in AI and ML technologies specific to energy-related software use cases. You will define and execute the company's AI strategy, including identifying suitable platforms, tools, and applied AI models. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop AI-driven product features, services, and decision-support tools across our software ecosystem. Your role will also involve overseeing the development and deployment of ML models, agentic systems, and generative AI applications to enhance customer experience and drive positive business outcomes. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing AI & Data Science team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and impact. It will be your responsibility to ensure the responsible and ethical use of AI, complying with industry standards and regulatory requirements, especially those relevant to the energy industry. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field, you will evaluate and select AI/ML tools, frameworks, and platforms. Additionally, you will represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and AI research communities to promote innovation and thought leadership. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field, with a preference for a Master's degree. With over 10 years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, you should have a proven track record of successfully applying AI, machine learning, and generative/agentic AI in commercial software products. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and experience presenting to executive leadership are essential for this position. Moreover, familiarity with energy industry data types, standards, and use cases, as well as knowledge of MLOps, data governance, and responsible AI practices, would be advantageous.
