Job Description
- As a Quality Inspector at Siemens Gamesa Wind Power, your day will be dynamic and engaging. You will start by conducting visual and dimensional inspections of wind turbine components on-site at a wind farm. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. You will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and verify welding quality, coating thickness, and bolt torquing. Your role includes maintaining detailed inspection records and collaborating with a diverse team to resolve quality issues and implement improvements. Conduct thorough inspections of wind turbine components to ensure flawless performance. Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to identify potential issues and maintain safety. Maintain and document comprehensive inspection records and quality control measures. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to successfully implement quality improvements. Lead quality audits and participate in supplier assessments to ensure adherence to standards. Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and site teams, fostering a culture of excellence! Proven ability to conduct visual and dimensional inspections with exceptional attention to detail. Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods like ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Exceptional problem-solving skills and an attitude geared towards addressing challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and collaborators at all levels. A self-motivated attitude with the capability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
