As part of the Financial Services Global unit, OFSS Consulting offers a wide range of consulting services covering new implementations, upgrades, customization, and managed services for various industry products like FLEXCUBE, DIGIX, Oracle Digital Banking experience, Analytics, Pricing and Billing, Leasing and Lending, and Oracle Banking Products across Retail, Corporate, Investment, Wealth, and Private banking domains. As an aspirational graduate looking to kickstart a career in Consulting within the Banking Domain and Practice, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technology knowledge, skills, and experience to work with a new generation of Oracle Banking products in next-generation architecture. With the guidance of a supportive team, you will have the chance to evolve into a team lead, project manager, or an authority in Business domain or Solution Architecture, taking full accountability and responsibility for the solutions delivered in your projects. Your responsibilities will include supporting Senior Consultants, Project Managers, and teams of professional consultants in delivering business-focused solutions for clients using Oracle applications, tools, and technology. You will also work on specific project tasks, develop skills around product functionality, design, and architecture, create extensions or customizations, assist in testing and deployment, and prepare relevant documentation. In addition to your drive, knowledge, and commitment, we are looking for candidates with the following primary skills: - Experience in end-to-end Development, Implementation, or Support activities related to Oracle FLEXCUBE/Core banking products - Proficiency in software programming languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, Core Java, JavaScript, and XML - Knowledge of Release management, Source control tools, and issue tracking for applications - Strong client interaction skills and familiarity with software deployment on Application Server software like Oracle Weblogic - Exposure to analysis of Oracle Database performance reports and fixing database performance issues - Understanding of banking terminologies and concepts - IT skills including Microsoft Office and Basic SQL querying - Strong communication and documentation skills in English - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations - Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments The ideal candidate should have 8 to 15 years of experience as a technical consultant in Java and PL/SQL with core banking applications or FLEXCUBE UBS. Additional skills such as knowledge of Core Java, PL/SQL, SQL, and experience in FLEXCUBE/core banking domain projects are highly desirable. Experience with DevOps tools, Testing tools, Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, and middleware like Oracle Fusion SOA Suite would be a plus. In terms of secondary skills, experience working in the BFSI Domain, specifically Banking, is important. Strong problem-solving skills, end-to-end implementation experience, and participation in critical project phases are valued.
