Job Description
- As a GCP Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in implementing and architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Your primary responsibility will be to create end-to-end data pipelines using Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, and Apache Spark, ensuring seamless data integration and processing. To excel in this role, you must possess 5 to 8 years of experience in IT or professional services, specifically in IT delivery or large-scale IT analytics projects. Expertise in Google Cloud Platform is essential, while knowledge of other cloud platforms is beneficial. You should have a strong command of SQL development and experience in building data integration tools using cloud technologies like Snaplogic, Google Dataflow, and Cloud Dataprep. Your technical skills should include proficiency in Python, Hadoop, Spark, SQL, BigQuery, and other GCP components such as BigTable, Cloud Storage, Datastore, Spanner, and Cloud SQL. Additionally, experience in machine learning and programming languages like Java and Python will be advantageous. Certified professionals in Google Professional Data Engineer or Solution Architect will be given preference. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying downstream implications of data loads and migrations, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. You will design and implement data pipelines to automate data ingestion, transformation, and augmentation processes, providing best practices for pipeline operations. Your work will enable simplified user access to extensive data by developing scalable data solutions. To succeed in this dynamic environment, you must be adept at advanced SQL writing and have experience in data mining, ETL processes, and data warehousing in complex business environments. Your ability to adapt to rapid changes and deliver robust data solutions will be critical for driving business insights and decision-making processes effectively.,
