We are seeking applications for the position of Assistant Manager - Sourcing & Procurement. In this role, you will collaborate with internal category sourcing teams and clients to understand their sourcing needs, define sourcing strategies, manage RFx sourcing events, and engage with qualified suppliers to secure competitive proposals. You will also be involved in negotiations with suppliers to deliver optimal outcomes for the customers. Responsibilities: - Support the category team in defining sourcing requirements and drafting necessary documents such as SOW, position postings, etc. - Develop RFP documents, coordinate supplier RFIs, analyze responses, and conduct supplier negotiations and selections as required. - Provide contract-related support to the category team by identifying expiring contracts, extending or terminating contracts, initiating legal contracts based on templates and clauses, and monitoring contract compliance. - Conduct spend analysis, maintain reports, and perform research to support category plans. - Collaborate with category leaders to explore alternate sourcing options, evaluate incumbent and new sources, and implement best practices where applicable. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with a strong background in sourcing experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant experience in indirect sourcing, supplier and stakeholder relationship management. - Experience working with global stakeholders, suppliers, and clients outside India. - Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, along with negotiation skills. - Knowledge of local marketplace, legislation, and suppliers. - Previous experience in a middle office environment, running sourcing events, collaborating with category leaders, and possessing strong interpersonal skills. - Experience in conducting virtual training and/or Q&A sessions would be advantageous.
