Full Stack Developer (Ruby on Rails &) @ Aditya Birla Sun Life

Job Description

As a Full-Stack Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React. Your expertise in backend APIs and services with Ruby on Rails, as well as proficiency in frontend development using React, will be crucial in this role. You should have a strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and be able to write efficient SQL queries. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, will be essential to define and implement new features. Your responsibilities will include optimizing applications for speed and scalability, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. To excel in this role, you must have a deep knowledge of RESTful API design and development, version control systems like Git, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Your understanding of responsive design principles, front-end performance optimization, and industry trends will help ensure that the applications you work on remain cutting-edge. Strong communication skills are required to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be integral to your success in this position.
