Job Description
- As an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, you will be responsible for contributing to the academic and research activities in the field. We are looking for individuals with a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from a reputable college/institute, accompanied by a strong background in research, academic, and administrative domains. Candidates with a minimum of 15 years of experience will be preferred for this position. Retired faculty members from prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, or reputed state universities are also encouraged to apply for Adjunct Faculty/Visiting Faculty positions. Your role will primarily involve teaching and conducting research in various areas related to Electronics and Communication Engineering. Proficiency in subjects such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Signal Processing, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, Nano Materials, Sensors, Quantum Computing, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Vision, AI, ML, DL, Image Processing, Cyber-Physical Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, Next Generation Wireless Technologies, and Intelligent Systems is essential. The ideal candidate should possess skills in Robotic System Development, Programming Architecture, ROS MATLAB, Keil, Cadence tool, Xilinx Vivado, Microwave Studio, Python, and Embedded C. Moreover, a strong research background, publications in reputed journals, involvement in sponsored research projects, patent publications, and industry consultancy experience are desirable qualities.
