Job Description
- As a Software Engineer III at Storable, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our industry-leading platform. We are looking for a talented developer with experience in building full-stack systems using Ruby on Rails or JavaScript (Node.js and React). In addition to this, there will be opportunities to work with technologies such as Rust, Elixir, Lua, Postgres, AWS, and ElasticSearch as part of our team. Your responsibilities will include driving and developing solutions for our customers" problems, collaborating with product and user experience teams to enhance user satisfaction, maintaining a quality-driven mindset, contributing to project design, mentoring junior engineers, improving the deployment ecosystem, and initiating changes to enhance team processes and designs. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of professional work experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby or JavaScript. You must be able to analyze requirements, suggest improvements to designs, have experience in designing small to medium scale systems, and possess qualities such as being hands-on, passionate, persistent, creative, and humble. Additionally, you should be authorized to work in the United States. Bonus points will be awarded if you have extensive knowledge of React and experience with interviewing. Asking questions, being proactive, and demonstrating leadership qualities are highly valued attributes in our team.
