Playwright Automation Quality Engineer @ Phlb Services

Job Description

As an experienced Automation Quality Engineer at our growing QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks using Playwright for web applications. Your expertise in BDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber or Spec Flow will be crucial in ensuring high-quality software delivery through test automation, continuous integration, and continuous testing practices. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright for web applications. - Implement BDD test scenarios in collaboration with product owners and developers using tools like Cucumber, Gherkin, or SpecFlow. - Drive test automation as a first-class activity within an Agile Scrum team. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and execution results. Qualifications: - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python preferred). - Solid experience in implementing BDD frameworks and writing test scenarios in Gherkin syntax. - Proficiency in at least one programming language used in automation: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
