Quality Analyst - Manual Testing @ Tredence

Job Description

You are a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Tester with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. You possess a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and have a passion for ensuring high-quality work. Your responsibilities will include understanding project requirements, designing test plans and test cases accordingly, performing thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and stability. You will identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar, and collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Additionally, you will execute regression, functional, smoke, and integration testing, provide test estimations, and contribute to QA planning and timelines. Participation in daily stand-ups and project meetings will also be expected, along with providing clear and detailed test reports. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and have 2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing. A strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, good communication and analytical skills, as well as basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries are essential. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have knowledge of automation tools like Selenium at a basic level, experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and exposure to cross-browser and cross-device testing.
