- You are a motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking an opportunity to work as a QA Tester Intern within our QA team. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in software quality assurance processes, encompassing both manual and automated testing. It presents an excellent chance to familiarize yourself with industry-standard testing tools and methodologies. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the execution of test plans and test cases for both new and existing software applications. You will be responsible for logging and tracking bugs in issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Additionally, you will conduct functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues will be a key aspect of this role. Moreover, you will be expected to help in writing and maintaining testing documentation like test cases, bug reports, and QA checklists. Participation in Agile/Scrum meetings to contribute to sprint goals will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, there may be opportunities to learn and assist with automated testing tools and scripting. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or TestRail. Experience with version control systems such as Git, basic knowledge of SQL, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript are also considered advantageous. An enthusiasm to learn and grow in the QA field is highly appreciated. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires your physical presence at the work location.
