Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesforce IT Sales Manager to join our high-performing sales team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for driving sales of Salesforce-based IT solutions and services. You will identify business opportunities, build client relationships, and close strategic deals that align with client needs and business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities for Salesforce implementation, customization, integration, and managed services.
  • Engage with C-level executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and propose Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Prepare proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and conduct client presentations and demos.
  • Work with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to create solution roadmaps and pricing models.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce product updates, trends, and competitors.
  • Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales, with a strong focus on Salesforce ecosystem solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas as an individual contributor.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.
  • Experience selling to enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a consultative sales approach.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder) are a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a Salesforce consulting partner or system integrator environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific Salesforce solutions (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud).
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
