As a potential candidate, you should possess the following qualities: - Ownership mindset to deliver assigned features on time - Proactive in optimizing code - Strong inclination towards writing tests - Eagerness to learn new technologies and enjoy exploring and learning during weekends - Persistent problem solver who delves into source codes for deeper understanding - Passion for travel and enthusiasm for developing systems to assist fellow travelers Requirements: - Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving abilities - 4+ years of experience in developing scalable and maintainable web applications - Minimum 2 years of experience in Ruby on Rails - Proficiency in Git - Sound knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, MYSQL - Experience in designing efficient database schemas with proper use of indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. - Hands-on experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, Memcache - Proficient in writing raw SQL queries - Familiarity with background job processing systems like Sidekiq, Delayed Jobs - Understanding of REST APIs and experience in building robust APIs - Ability to write automated tests using RSpec or similar frameworks - Strong communication and teamwork skills Bonus Skills: - Experience in building responsive webpages using HTML, (S)CSS, JS - Familiarity with ReactJS - Previous experience in building a Ruby Gem - Hands-on experience in DevOps - Familiarity with ElasticSearch - Previous use of AWS services If you meet the above requirements and possess the bonus skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Thrillophilia!,
