Job Description

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for both UI and API testing. Your role will involve collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality releases. You will play a key part in the timely reporting of bugs and failures within applications, working closely with the development team to identify and understand the root cause of issues. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing with a specific focus on test automation. Proficiency in UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, as well as in programming languages like Java, Groovy, etc., is essential. Additionally, you should possess a basic understanding of version control tools like git and bitbucket, alongside a strong knowledge of API testing using RestAssured or similar tools/libraries. Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies will be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
