Fiserv will provide the SOP, and the Cognizant team will follow the steps mentioned in the SOP
Schedule and monitoring batch jobs in production environment using CA7 Scheduling tool. Respond to job failures or delays and take corrective actions. Investigate job failures and restart from the correct step or provide JCL override before restarting. Analyse logs and job histories for performance or error patterns. Manage LIST/READY/ACTIVE queues in CA7 Add/Remove USRRQMT/HOLD jobs per request Monitor overnight batch window and be vigilant to report any issues and resolve asap. Support DR activities Coordinate and work with Mainframe Console Operations if required.
Cognizant team will escalate to Fiserv L3 team for any unresolved issues
