Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
- Provide operational support and engineering for large distributed software applications
- Estimate: Create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
- Mentor: Coach high performing engineering team to build and deliver health care product to market
- Operations: Possess/acquire solid troubleshooting skills and be interested in performing troubleshooting of issues in different desperate technologies and environments
- Thought Leadership: Propose and implement best in class architectural solution for big and complex systems
- Engineering: Implement and adhere to best engineering practices like design, unit testing, functional testing automation, continues integration and delivery
- Stakeholder management: Excellent communication skills, clarity of thought and ability to take decisions bases on available information

Qualifications - External
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech/MCA/MSc/MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education; correspondence courses are not considered relevant).
- Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant software lifecycle experience, with a focus on Backend Services, APIs, Microservices, and Frontend implementation.
- 3+ years of experience in working with and guiding team members on Java and UI.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with REST, GraphQL, Microservices, and Spring Boot on AWS Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with React/Node.js and other UI frameworks.
- Exposure to Cassandra or other No-SQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Lambda, and containerization.
- Experience with Kubernetes and automated, codeable deployments.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
- Proficiency in Design, Coding, and Testing.

- Front End: Java, React/Node.js
- Back End: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, AWS, GraphQL
- Middleware: Kafka & its ecosystem, Cassandra/NoSQL
- Testing: JUnit, Gatling, Cypress, Selenium
- DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify
- Others: JMeter, Groovy
- Development Methodology/Engineering Practices: Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
