Technical Project Manager System Integration: Job Description (JD) for Technical Project Manager - Systems Integration Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans[Analyse and develop procedures for management and technical duties] detailing tasks, timelines, and resource allocation for successful systems integration.
- Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration among developers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance to ensure integration projects meet requirements and standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations, report progress, and address concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality integration solutions, conducting thorough testing and validation.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications and progress reports.
- Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve technical issues that arise during the integration process.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role within Systems Integration.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of systems integration, software development, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Leadership: Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry (e.g., Corporate, Hospitality, healthcare, finance) the projects are focused on.
- Technical Certifications: Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Extreme, Trend Micro, Sophos, Crestron, Kramer, Samsung, LG, Watchdog, VOIP Exchange, Poly, HPE, Netrack, CommScope, Molex, Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, AWS, Azure, etc).
- Open-Source Contributions: Active participation in the open-source community.
- DevOps Knowledge, if any.
