Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a civil engineering background, a working knowledge of AutoCAD, and a passion for engaging with clients. You will play a critical role in driving technical sales, supporting clients throughout the sales cycle, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Promote and sell civil engineering products and technical solutions to contractors, architects, consultants, and builders.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and AutoCAD-based drawings based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with design and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including site visits and installations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to explain specifications and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records through reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal review.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the civil or construction industry.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (reading and minor editing of drawings).
  • Good understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and terminology.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as required across assigned regions.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or building materials sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong presentation skills and a customer-focused mindset.
