Senior Business Analyst (with Big data Hadoop) @ Xnovaq

Job Description

We are seeking a confident, creative, and curious team player to join us as a Business Analyst in Bangalore, working with one of the largest retail companies in the UK. As part of the team, you will support multiple projects for our client in an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include working closely with Product Managers to deliver outcomes for the product area, owning source system discovery and data analysis for accuracy and completeness, collaborating with other technology teams to understand tech initiatives, and gathering and documenting information on systems. You will also build domain knowledge to understand business requirements, document metadata for new and existing data, assist in maintaining backlogs and user stories, validate data to ensure it meets business requirements, and support business teams during UAT and post-production phases. Additionally, you will support the Engineering team in production landscape design, document all aspects of data products, and perform data lineage analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant Business Analyst experience, with expertise in Big Data Hadoop applications, SQL queries, and Agile methodology. Proficiency in English at the C1 Advanced level is required.
