As a Software Developer at PROIU Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features, as well as participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback. Your role will involve debugging and troubleshooting issues efficiently, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and designing robust APIs for integration purposes. It is essential to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while staying informed about new technologies and software development trends. Additionally, you will work on bug fixing, enhance application performance, prepare and maintain software design documentation, and adhere to software development best practices and standards. Participation in daily stand-ups and scrum meetings, conducting software testing for validation, and assisting in estimating development timelines and deliverables are also key aspects of this role. Furthermore, mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge across the team are crucial responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with proven experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Java and web development technologies is required, as well as experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), version control systems (Git), Agile methodologies, RESTful API development, and software testing methodologies and tools is necessary. A solid understanding of software design patterns, excellent problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills are also essential. The ability to work collaboratively, willingness to learn new technologies, and effective task management skills are highly valued in this role.,
