Manual Testing with API @ SAN Engineering

Job Description

You will be responsible for Manual Testing at our client's location in Noida. Your primary duties will include conducting API Testing using the POSTMAN tool, with a focus on various Response Status Codes and different methods such as PUT, GET, PATCH, and DELETE. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of DHCP Scope, Path and Query parameters in API Testing, and possess basic Networking Skills, including knowledge of the OSI Networking Model with an emphasis on the Application Layer and Transport Layer. In terms of Networking Basics, you should be familiar with tasks such as fetching IP Address on a laptop, distinguishing between IP Address and MAC Address, understanding the differences between TCP and UDP, and having a basic knowledge of Subnet, Routers, Switches, and Ethernet Ports. You should also be able to differentiate between LAN and WAN configurations. Furthermore, your role will require you to demonstrate proficiency in Manual Testing Concepts, including understanding the differences between Sanity and Smoke testing, deriving test scenarios based on Web UI Validation, managing Defect Phases, and distinguishing between Severity and Priority levels with relevant examples. Finally, having basic Hands-On Experience in Linux and MySQL will be an added advantage for this position.,
