Job Description
- The purpose of the role is to prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client's end, ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be responsible for understanding the test requirements and designing test cases for the product, authoring test planning based on business requirements, and implementing Wipro's way of testing using Model-based testing for efficient test generation. It is crucial to ensure that test cases are peer-reviewed to minimize rework and work closely with the development team to capture test cases and ensure version control. Additionally, you will be involved in setting criteria, parameters, scope, and out-scope of testing, participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and automating the test life cycle process at appropriate stages through tools like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation. You will design and execute the automation framework, develop and automate tests for software validation, and report any detected bugs/issues effectively. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring no instances of rejection or slippage of delivered work items, adhering to Wipro/Customer SLAs and norms, and providing timely feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks to stakeholders. Regular status reporting and maintaining a customer-centric focus are essential aspects of this role. Key Performance Parameters: 1. Understanding test requirements and test case design: Ensure error-free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, and the number of automations done using VB macros. 2. Executing test cases and reporting: Demonstrating testing efficiency and quality, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries within the stipulated time, and maintaining a high CSAT score.
