Job Description
- The purpose of this role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at a client end while ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the requirements and design of the product/software. This involves developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, and identify ideas to improve system performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to convert client requirements into feasible designs. Your responsibilities will also include performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development. This involves evaluating operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, modifying software to fix errors or improve performance, and preparing reports on programming project specifications. You will compile timely and accurate documentation, provide feedback on usability, and coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress. Furthermore, you will be responsible for status reporting and maintaining customer focus throughout the project execution. This includes capturing client requirements and feedback, participating in continuing education to remain current on best practices, consulting with engineering staff, and documenting solutions through various means. You will ensure good quality of interaction with customers and provide timely responses to their requests. In terms of deliverables, you will be measured on continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software, quality, customer satisfaction, MIS, and reporting. The mandatory skill for this role is Salesforce Field Service Lightning, and the desired experience is 3-5 years.
