Senior QA Engineer @ Enlighten Schola

Job Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at SEEBURGER, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable test automation solutions. With over 10 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our cloud software products. Your primary responsibilities will include defining and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. You will design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks and strategies, focusing on testing microservices for reliability, performance, and scalability. Your expertise in automated testing frameworks and cloud-native technologies, particularly Kubernetes and microservices, will be essential in validating service contracts and dependencies between services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, will be a key aspect of your role. You will work closely with DevOps to integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless automation script execution during the build, test, and deployment process. Detailed test reports and metrics will be generated and shared with stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals. Your strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with proficiency in Java programming language, UI test automation tools like Selenium, and API testing tools like Rest Assured, will be crucial in driving the quality and reliability of our applications. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Argo CD, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, will be advantageous.
