- As a Lead Web Developer at Hilti, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's software offerings. Your main responsibilities will include translating business requirements into technical applications, creating and maintaining intricate and innovative solutions, and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to coach other software developers in a cross-functional environment and review their contributions. In this role, you will actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape the future of Hilti's software solutions. You will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining features and functionality while collaborating with product/solution owners and architects to translate requirements into working software. Additionally, you will lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, develop technical application design, and mentor developers in their day-to-day tasks. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have a minimum of ten years of professional experience, with at least seven years as a front-end application developer. Strong coaching and mentoring skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, willingness to embrace change and new technologies, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English are essential. Profound knowledge in developing and maintaining web applications using React, TypeScript, and other modern web development technologies is required.
