Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Optimization Simulation Consultant with hands-on
experience in one or more leading supply chain simulation tools (LLamasoft, QuintiQ,
BlueYonder, or AnyLogic). The consultant will work closely with our Korean process
consulting team to model, simulate, and optimize logistics networks and operations for
our client.
Key Responsibilities
Build and fine-tune logistics and supply chain simulation models using
LLamasoft, QuintiQ, BlueYonder, or AnyLogic.
Script and customize models using the tools programming/scripting environment
for automation and advanced logic.
Collaborate with Korean consultants who will provide business data, processes,
and scenario inputs.
Model assets such as warehouses, transportation routes, inventory flows, and
capacities.
Conduct scenario analysis (e.g., network changes, cost optimization, demand
fluctuations).
Provide actionable insights and simulation results to support strategic decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on experience in at least one of the following: LLamasoft (Supply
Chain Guru), QuintiQ, BlueYonder, or AnyLogic.
Experience in logistics/supply chain modeling and scenario-based simulations.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes (warehousing, transportation,
inventory management).
Scripting/programming knowledge within the simulation tool environment (e.g.,
Python, Java, or proprietary tool scripting).
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams.
Nice-to-Have
Previous experience in consulting projects for global clients.
Exposure to optimization techniques and advanced analytics.
Engagement Details
Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension depending on project needs).
Mode of Work: Primarily remote (India-based), with occasional travel to Korea
(travel expenses covered).
Collaboration: Korean process consultants will manage client communication and
provide data; the consultant will focus on modeling and scripting.
