Job Description
- As a Lead Web Developer at ISS STOXX, you will be an integral part of our Mumbai team, leading new development initiatives and collaborating with a talented group of Media professionals to create well-designed, high-quality websites. Your role will involve working closely with various teams within the Media organization, including Editorial, Creative Design, Marketing, Ad Sales, and Operations, to support business objectives and deliver technical solutions. Your expertise in WordPress development, along with your ability to tackle challenging problems, will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements, translating them into technical solutions - Develop modern, interactive, and responsive websites using PHP, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript - Create and style responsive templates and components with reusability in mind - Produce efficient, testable code following best practices and standards - Research and implement mobile and web development frameworks for UI development - Optimize websites for speed, cache, SEO, and mobile devices - Maintain documentation for developed solutions, including code documentation and user guides Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience - Minimum of 5 years of website development experience - Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL - Experience in building ReactJS applications - Familiarity with testing frameworks, build automation, RESTful APIs, and version control tools - Knowledge of web design principles, UX best practices, and SEO techniques - Experience with Figma or Adobe XD is a plus - Strong communication skills and experience with Agile delivery practices At ISS STOXX, we are committed to hiring the best talent and providing resources to enhance their career, health, financial, and personal well-being.
