Job Description
- You will be working as a Tamil-Speaking Server at Tandoori Tamashaa, within the Food & Beverage department of Ilara Hotels & Spa. Your role will involve being the welcoming face of Tandoori Tamashaa, ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Fluent in both Tamil and basic English, you will communicate effectively with guests, showcasing excellent hospitality skills. Your responsibilities as a Hostess include warmly greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and effectively communicating menu highlights. You will strive to create a positive and memorable guest experience from their arrival to departure. As a Steward, you will serve food and beverages elegantly, explain menu items, and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for accurate order delivery. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Tamil and English, with at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hotel service role. A polished appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and knowledge of fine dining service standards are desirable. A proactive team player willing to learn and adapt to shift-based work, including weekends and holidays, is essential for this role.
